Saw Slim twice at the Silver Dollar Room (gone now, dammit). First time we talked to him a good 20 minutes while he was downing bourbon shots between sets. Yep, signed my CD, so did everyone else in the band except second guitar. Drummer told me "don't bother, he's an asshole." Shot the **** with him while he was packing up. Cool guy, said he was living his dream.
