All Fellow Slant Sixers,
What have you done to your slanted rocket?
Post specs of your motor, with particular detail to cam and induction setup.
Here's mine:

'72 Block .040 /Iron head/Forged crank(.000/.000)
Block decked .100 (9.45-1 Comp.)
Pistons/rods balanced within 4 gr.
Ported Exhaust manifold
Mildly modified stock intake/cleaned up.
Custom 1920 Holley/modified venturi
Head pocket ported/ports smoothed
Schneider Racing reground cam--
264 dur./[email protected] lift
Schneider matched dual-valve springs.
Belden Max plug wires/ Accel super-coil/NGK ZFR5N plugs
Distributor will be recurved later.

Drool tube heads, rebuilt by previous owner, so not sure on spec's, 2 bbld manifold with
Carter BBD from a late 60's 318. Stock ex. Manifold with 2.5 inch exhaust running to a dual 2.25 "out muffler for "Fake Dual Exhaust".MSD 6A, Blaster 2 Coil, MSD Helicoil Wires, Electronic distributer (Still haven't messed with that). 700 miles on re-built a-904.

Scheduled changes:

Mill head .100
Replace rockers (not holding adjustment well anymore)
Maybe a mild port/polish while the head is off
 
72 block 30 over
76 head 0.100 taken off for 9.8-1 compression
Wolverine blue racer cam of unknown specs, was in there when I got it, I was told it is pretty mild.
Clifford 4bbl intake
465cfm Holley
Clifford split shortie headders Y'ed to single
2 1/2" exhaust into a cherrybomb turbo muffler (it's not a glass pac) 2 1/4"
pipe out the back.
Electronic ignition using a GM HEI module, 9R governer and 2 light springs (all in at 2200rpm) race coil.
904 out of a van(wide ratio) with a shift improver kit
8 3/4 w/ 3.23's sure grip
Super stock springs
235/60r14 BFG's out back
16" pusher instead of direct drive fan

Manual steering box and front sway bar are in the garage waiting to be installed

1970 198 block-decked .007" and bored +.065"
Car Quest Forged crank kit w/bearings
Jeffrey windage tray w/crank scraper
KB hyper 2.2 turbo pistons and rings
Jeffrey head-Peanut plug-Ferrea valves
Clifford cam-300*/558" lift
Clifford intake
Clifford shorty headers
Stock Mopar electronic distributor w/slots welded halfway
Accel 8mm plug wires
MSD6-AL ignition
RAS rebuilt stock rocker arms
390 or 600 DP Holley


Has run 14:18@96 on motor
12:001@110 on a 150 shot of hose
