What can you get for $2500?

The trans is out, (4 speed), but I did get it running well with no more than a battery and gas. '71 Duster, stick, good black bucket seat interior, needs carpet and dash pad, (came with a nice black pad), good running '68 340, 8-3/4" rear with Sure-Grip 3.91 gears, old slotted mags, disc brakes. I paid $1,800 about 6 months ago. They are around.

There are a few deals on the Phoenix AZ Craigslist too.
Some low rust desert cars that have been baked in the sun.
Metal good, soft parts cooked.

Paid $800 for a 65 Valiant V200, 4 door, rebuilt 273, great daily driver.
Paid $2000 for my 70 Dart in 2003. Was a /6 auto, drove it home 2 hours.
Paid $2500 last year for my 67 Barracuda. 360 with J heads, Holley DP, Edelbrock intake, 727 with manual valve body, 8 3/4 3.91 Sure Grip rear, rebuilt BBP front discs, new sway bar, etc. Bucket, console car. Needed quarters and front fenders. Came with an extra trunk lid and a 340 S hood.
 
Lol love the stance abod! I got a 95 % rust free 73 dart sport/6 daily driver and a 74 swinger 318 8.25 disc drum parts car for a total of 1200. u be better off pounding the pavement than looking on the net to find a good deal
