What diff do I have?

I just bought this 67 dart and it has a posi, but the lug patern is 4.5" on 5. Any clue as to what this is, it does have a snubber,

From the pics it looks like a 8 1/4 rear

Yep 8 1/4 and if it is a sure grip the wheels spin in same direction when jacked up off the ground

Thank you, ...... are the 4.5" x 5 lugs normal? Also the seller told me this rear came out of a cop car and has a weird ratio, didn't know they put out an A-Body cop car....

yes that rearend is 73up but if its from a cop car its from 76 Dart and Valiant 4 doors with A58 Package which would be a sure grip and either 2.71 or 2.94 gear ratio. If its 2.71 and sure grip then the suere grip cant be used in other gear ratios except 2.71
