what do i need to change for 4 brl on slant six

hello out there...I picked up a 4 barrel manifold & carb for my 225 slant six...in a 1973 Scamp...what else do I need to change......thank you for your time

Nothing, really. It will bolt right on. Now it will BENEFIT you to put a larger exhaust, mill the head .100" and maybe add a small performance cam. But those things are not necessary.

Is it a Clifford or Offy? If a Clifford you'll need to run headers as it won't bolt to a stock exhaust manifold. If the Offy, it will bolt right up to your stock exhaust manifold and give you manifold heat like original.

there was a set of headers on ny cl. also you will need to change your kickdown cable. lokar.com has a nice setup. thats what i have on mine.

mine has a set of dual hooker headers on it. also it has 2 1/2 stainless steel exhaust out the rear of the car with flo-masters on it. sounds awsome. everyone doesn't believe it's a slant six.

Or put a block-off plate over the heat riser port on the exhaust manifold.
