What does 66 /6 auto dart weigh?

I've got a 66 270 dart, 2 door, slant 6, 904, and a bench seat. What do they weigh? I have read 2600-2700 lbs, that sounds light?

Sounds about right, and why they are so fast with a hot motor. AC would add ~100 lb. A better question is why are so many vehicles today so heavy? Today's Honda Accord is much bigger than the original ones in the 1980's. Most minivans are no longer "mini", weighing in at 4500 lb, far from the originals based on the K-car chassis. That is why the transmissions fail often (Odyssey's every 30K miles I read) and owners complain the brake pads keep wearing out. Safety features, heavy plastic, and conveniences seem to be the reason for bloat.
