what gear ratio should this rear have?

i've got a 73 gold duster 318 bench seat column shift with a 8 1/4 rear, is there any chance of it having lower gears in it or what do you guy's think it has in it...I want to take the rear end out and put it in my barracuda If I can find a drive shaft to fit it.

I will look but I don't think it has one, it's just a parts car.

Easy to find out. Probably not a suregrip, so jack one wheel up, put it in neutral.

Turn one wheel TWO full turns and count driveshaft turns. Popular was 2.7
