whats the best gear for the 509 cam 391 or 410 ? or is there that much of a differance between the two gears for this cam? this is a sreet car and im not really worried about mpg :-D

410 is pretty tall for highway driving. There are a lot of other factors you might want to look at between the cam and the rear end.
 
well i have a 413 30 over ported with m1 singleplane intake with a eddy 750 3200 10inch stall tci converter and and right now 323 gears, its boggy i know it needs more gear for what i have,

I'm running a 509 with 391:1's and 27" tall tires. Its a nice around town snappy combination.

How tall a tire are you running?
I run 5.13's on a 33" 31.5 Actual tire 3900 @ 60 ish
 
Tire height makes as much diff. as gear ratio on cruise rpm's. If your running a 3.55 gear with 26" tall tires you'll run about the same rpm at 60 as you would with a 28" tire with 3.91 gears. How tall are your tires?

Year their 27". That's what I'm running with a 3:73 gear. Runs just a little under 3000 rpm at 60 mph. Great street/strip gear. Had 4:10's in it at first and it turned 3,400+ at 60. kinda stressful running that many R's at 60. I like the 3:73's allot better for the street.
 
im going to run 4:10 with 28in tire and if urs is 509 lift...mines 524
