What have you done to your car to make it more enjoyable?

Changed from Cross Ram, lowered compression, manual shift valve body, 4.10's
To single 4 bbl, stock valve body with kick down and a B&M shift kit,3.23 gears.
Much more streetable.

Love this. What car did it come from? Do you have a link to the fob and receiver?
I think it came from a M body. (Chrysler 5th Avenue. I bought it at a swap meet.) I bought the electronics on E bay. I will see if I can find my purchase history.

Spent a fair amount of time tuning the 850 Holley for driveability. (Not as big a problem since I have a four-speed, though).

Aside from that - nothing! Everything I install on my Dart is to enhance performance which IS what makes it enjoyable :)

4 layers of cardboard on the drivers side seat where there was nothing but bare springs!!!!! ha
Now I need to fix the drivers outside door handle and window where I can get in from THAT side!!

On my 70 Swinger, HEI conversion, 20:1 steering gear ratio and went from 3:55 to 3:73 rear end gear, and ThermoQuad and manifold swap.

Dicer, how was that gear swap- from 3.55 to 3.73 - you could feel the difference?

I could not, little change, but I had a axle bearing starting to growl and went with the green bearings and thought I would give this ratio a try. And also I had an open diff, love the sure loc......

Fenderwell headers. Yes, I said it. It's a joy to work on. Everything is easily accessible and the headers can be removed in 15 minutes. Also went with a 16.1 steering box.

I lost your thread on the other forum. How’s that going???

I got it to where I could cruise at 60 mph around 15:1 AFR, and even leaner "putting around" town at low RPM (20-30 mph). Which is what I mostly do with the Dart anyway :D There's still a lean hesitation at a light tip-in but I can live with that. The problem still exists of having no safe place to do WOT runs even if not glancing over at the AFR meter... and the track is 90 miles away.

I'm tied up fixing rust in my '65 F-350 since early April... it was (as usual) much worse, and much more work than I anticipated. But when I couldn't close the driver's door any more, it was time to start cutting and welding. (If you're really interested there's a thread in the '61-'66 forum on Ford-trucks.com) ;)

Front disc brakes, electronic ignition, AutoMeter Z-Series gauges, twin hood scoops, V21 style gloss black paint treatment, big & little Rallye wheels, LD4B intake & 1406 carb, Lokar throttle & "kick down" cables, Cloyes double roller timing chain & gears, MP viscous fan, Spectra radiator, Jeep Wrangler headlamps (on relays), FlowMaster 40s (stock manifolds) with 2 1/4" pipes, new windshield with new SteeleRubber front & rear window gaskets, and a few other odds & ends I'm sure I forgot.

And a lot of gasoline for the "smiles per gallon" trips with the car club!
