Don't tell me it belongs to my hand-crank ice cream maker?

It"s definitely a two way support apparatus, for some sort of Domaflodge !

The way it sits now, the side with the large hole is 7 inches and the other side is about 6 inches. Of course, that can change anytime by sliding around in those adjustment slots.

What is the background, where was it found, what was around it etc.

Looks like the bracket from my electric ice cream maker

Then maybe it does indeed fit my ice cream maker (not electric though). Missing the wooden bucket and the canister is all rusty now. Remember using it once as youngsters but that was a long, long time ago.

In all seriousness, I'm with BP in post #6, it reminds me of a sink wall bracket.

not , I put quite a few in , never saw a bracket like that on any of them , might be a good idea tho !

It looks similar to one of my appliance anti-tip brackets that was removed before having new flooring installed in the kitchen; possibly for an oven.

Definitly an adjustable wall bracket for something that requires a hole and...

Yeh, I got -
