So I was really into this valiant wagon but a life changing event has come up so I need to let it go but I have no idea if early A wagons have a following or what they for these days.

it is a 1963 valiant wagon with a clear Colorado title
The floors have surface rust and need a patch here and there.

comes with extra pair of fenders (kinda rough) extra hood, extra tail gate, extra set of doors with glass extra glass, and extra grille.

It has the clutch pedals in it and has a woodgrain steering wheel and a set of NOS tail light lenses, which I acquired for the car recently on fabo

Also has a pair of bucket seats from a 63 dart GT complete with tracks. (bought from a fabo member)

the bad:

the rear quarters will need some fab work and re-worked.
All rubber seals on this car are pretty much shot, prairie desert car all it's life.
NO engine or Trans go with it and it has a 7 1/4 rear end

those little wagons are going up in value. i'd love to have one. it all depends on condition... that one looks to need a decent amount of work..

Four years ago I paid $1575 on eBay for my '65 Dart. It had a weak engine but a decent interior, and the body's in about the same shape as yours (although it's one solid, peeling color). Maybe they've gone up over the last four years, but if not, I'd say the $1200 guess is the closest (although I hope it's worth more for our sake!).

Five grand, so you have some haggle room. It is a classic car. It would be awesome with wheel tubs, and the rear doors finished shut to look like a two door station wagon drag car.

Hope your life changing event is a positive one.
Wagons and trucks are hot right now. Yours even in its current condition will be very desirable especially with pedals for rowing your own gears. Would start in Rays price range Rani and work from there.
Knock back the firewall, add a small block, 833 & 8 3/4 and wohoo. Worry about body and interior later.

I ended up selling mine to Curtis for $800 and I delivered it, but I didn't have the extras that you have.

thank you, that is real world.....I think ebag is such a farce these days with outrageous fees and rules and when you buy stuff people want a million dollars for everything and half of it is their buddies bidding them up.

Your experience is real world and recent and gives me the idea that I was maybe around target at 1500. which is what I had told one local man and he didn't do anything about it.

It hurts so much to let any car go, I find myself on and off with this but sometimes it's a necessary evil to let go

BIG value if you can find a buyer 'down under'.
Those early Valiants are what got Mother Mopar established in Australia and they love 'em down there.

If you font NEED to get rid if it, perhaps you can cover it up and put it on the back burner somewhere. I doubt that you will ever find another. I would sell your good parts that you acquired separately, though. You may not get you money back otherwise.

a few month a go, I saw a 62 Lancer for sale I believe , here. looked to be a very nice maybe survivor type wagon, yes wagon. lancer w agon. we all know Lancers of this vintage are rare but I can attest they are not worth much ( to most if not all people), but a Lancer wagon is so very ODD.
point is, the seller put it in SlantSix.org and sold it in bout a week aftr the ad came out there, sold there is at least my assumption.

for the sake of the answer to this thread, I think the price of a good project is so far removed from the price of a good driver, and that is far removed from the price ( as in selling price) of a restored car. I see early b body wagons on CL scattered around in the $3-4000 range that NEVER sell. is the early A wagon more or less desirable??? the pedals and extra parts make Rani's wagon more desirable, but....
biggest hurdle for me to ever sell any car is to find a buyer close enough or THAT rare person that will pay shipping.

my off the wall estimate of value is $1500-2000, maybe 2500, but
it just takes the right buyer!

the last wagon I as trying to b,y was in Ok, totally complete 65 dart slant wagon, $1000 few years back.

I am curious, if the drivetrains was in it,but wasn't road worthy, what is it worth?. How about if it is road worthy and you could drive it away, then what is it worth?

If I was not winding down my car enterprises, I would offer you between 1200 ans 1500. I would fab in 2 door doors, and have a nice wagon, one of none. and a V8.
