What is the ONE thing your A body has you wish your modern car had?

Nothing better than cracking open the driver side floor vent in the spring and taking a handful of dried leaves up the shorts lol

Also the drip troughs that let you crack the windows when it's raining. Would destroy the market for those stupid looking plastic stick on ones many buy

The cool/wow factor...people love that 70 Swinger with the dual scoops chrome tips and go wing...

I wish I would have grabbed one of the trunk remote open switches (it's just a few wires), and trunk latch from the M bodies other cars. There were plenty of um at yards. But now none.

I second the wing windows, they can really get some air moving when it's hot
My dad's car was hit and totaled by someone with no insurance. He got paid at work. Walked to the Closest Dealer. Gave them his pay, bought the loss leader. 1970 Nova 230ci 3 on tree. AM radio and heat were onky 2 options. Did have steel.wheels and Dog Dish caps.
Man them wing vent windows were the bomb. Car had black vinyl bench in southern heat.
The Windows moved some air

Still got those on my daily... 2017 ram 2500

Have you ever hit (more like bumped) anything with it?
I rented one at an airport for forestry work. It had dings on the bumper that I circled on their damage form. Attempting a 3pt turn I lost traction and dug in a enough to lower the back over a stump. Yep, bent that thing out and down. I was able to jack the truck up over the stump and drop the bumper on it to raise it then backed into another tree to push it back in. Because I noted the ding earlier no one was any wiser. I’ve done it to older cars and would tell ya, they were way harder to straighten out!!

foot actuated dimmer switch on the floor
A guy here told me one time.
They are putting them back on the floor here by law.
It's just to much a danger! To many Coonass Drivers are getting their foot cault in the wheel switching it back and fourth.

One thing? notta chance I can keep it to just one.
Power-slides, J-hooks, Dual blackies for 3 gears, lighting them up at 50mph, adjustable rear-steering, jumping, rallying, bunny-hops, cruising in overdrive at 85=2100 ..
If I had to pick one
I suppose it would have to be
endurance; the ability to survive all my chit and abuse.
If I tried to drive my Chevy Orlando, in a manner that I do my HotRod, I think it would blow up in a very short time. If not the engine, then you can bet the rest of the powertrain would be junk; and churaschit the suspension and steering would be wonky; but, more than likely it would have rolled over and ended up on it's roof, now being a total write-off.

i havent babied it and im sure ive used it as a bulldozer, but i havent manages to put any dents in the new bumpers yet

No computers, no LEDs, nothing digital, no electrics in the doors, only uses a real key for everything, no batteries to charge.........I love it just the way it is.

Old school is nice BUT... I really like how newer cars start up when cold... just saying
