I remember taking it off something under the hood.

That's a vacuum tee. It screws into the intake manifold....probably in the rear and vacuum lines attach to it.

The big one goes to the kanooder (the big booster thing behind the brake master cylinder).
The other ones I never use unless I need somewhere to plug my vacuum gauge into, so can't help ya there.
