What is this piece for?

On the bottom of one of the front seats. Dont think I need it.

Any body know what it is for?

I literally just finished putting my seat tracks back together. Seats are still out, if u could give me a better pic I might be of some help. Also, is that front or rear of the seat bottom and is it inboard or outbourd? Well, actually I can see it is the rear of the seat cuz the hinge bolt is visible, but is it inboard or outboard and is the track removed from the seat?

The track was removed, this piece was between the track and lower seat frame. It was only one one of the seats.

I see. Definitely not on either of my seats. Did it interfere with the track, perhaps stop it from hyper extending? U know what I say..if it's not hurting anything just put it back in:dontknow:

Stops just fine without it, thought it for for a spring to hook on. Another mystery in my life.

Good point. Did u have any other return springs on ur seat track. Mine definitely have return springs, one on each seat.
