Automatic BTW, don't know if Manual used the same switch ( I suspect not)

there should be 2 wires and a connector coming out of it. The sell for 125.00 online in NOS or a bit less for good used shape

This is what the back side should look like.

If there is something to solder wires to and the contacts work it might be worth 1/4 to 1/2 to some one.

If you move the post over you should be able to see the contacts.

In one particular position the contacts on the back should be shorted together.

What I found on my original was the little springs that push down on a bar inside the switch were rusted away so the bar could not make contact.

Dana my switch doesn't have a pigtail on it. On would plug on to mine. I'll post a pick adap

Don't throw out the steering column either. If it still has the little finger operating lever in good shape, they're worth almost as much as the switch.
 
Never saw one with terminals.
Guess it is a 65 66 thing.
Working switch... Price went up.
