What Non mopar mechanic work are you doing

-
My non Mopar project last summer. I put a 5.3 L83 on an airboat. Studied putting a gen3 on one but there's almost zero aftermarket support for it in the airboat industry. Didn't feel like going to the extra trouble. Mines straight out of a 2015 Silverado. It's an LT, no more LS designation. It's a freakin beast for 325 ci. Easy peazy to do, too.

What lake are you on in that top picture?

I put new cones in the transmission on my Dixon ZTR mower.

I'm installing a Paxton supercharger on my '64 Ranchero. Actually more like doing some mocking-up for now.

I am caretaker and chief mechanic for my MIL’s car, a 1991 Mustang convertible. This car has never really been driven in all of its years, and now has been off the road for almost 2 years. She has Alzheimer’s and if it were running she would try to drive it, so I’m very slow to fix it this time. I will be getting it out in the spring and fixing the ignition module, a common problem with these cars, and getting it ready to sell. It currently has 17k miles on it.

if you don’t make someone here a deal on that Mustang it would be a good candidate for Bring A Trailer…

Fixing to install a new Muncie M22 tranny, L88 heads and new roller cam into this 67 427 Tri-power 4-spd Vette. The original 427 was blown up in the 70's and has an LS-7 454 in it now.

and after what seems like 2 years of waiting for parts (stupid Covid) I only have a little more stainless welding on the exhaust and the engine will be ready for dyno.

the Mustang has gone on to a good, loving home of Mustang lovers. They fell in love with the car the minute they saw it, and we face them a great deal.

No pictures on hand, but I'm currently working on a '62 thunderbird. I just got the new dashpad and the old dash removed. I'm looking forward to the headache I'm about to have putting it all back in.

Favorite arrangement is the top one, simple to set up and take down. Easy size tarp to handle. The 10' x 12' tarp fits without modification, and easily secures to the pipe frame with ball bungee ties.

Makes a nice shaded work area and can drive the front of the Van under it to work on the engine area or change oil.

Im not sure what this is called but its time well spent. If it results in a PV2 or littleCudaChick even better.....
