what oil pan

-
The 187, 699 as far as factory pans. I'm using a Milodon 30930 which has extra capacity. In my setup it clears everything as is, though the idler does come very close in an extreme right turn.

Typically, a swap into any passenger car requires a passenger car oil pan. They are "kinda" center sump, but actually a little forward of center. Trucks & vans normally use rear sump pans.

273, 318 and 340's use the same pan while 360 LA engines have their own, which has a smaller and different rear pan seal. I keep forgetting what the Magnum engines use as far as seals.

If you want a performance oriented pan, then it can get into a lot more variables, but still center sump for a car installation.

You need to provide a little more info.

:eek:ops: I missed the part that says this is in the "big block" forum. ](*,) Been distracted by other issues at home.

Well the engine I'm buying has a car pan it's out of a 69 bee just didn't know if it would clear the steering components. I have done the swap before but it's been a while
