What older Dodge pickup truck would you get if you could choose?

-
Except for the front drum brakes, I might agree........You can also get locking front hubs on the Dana 60 front ends in the W250's and W350's and, of course, aftermarket ones for some models.

I have been told that I can swap over the disc brake parts from an early 80's Ramcharger Dana44. I may do this.

I like the looks of the 73-80s myself. But I like the hubs and cloth seats of the 80s. Which is why I have an '87 cab and driveline and 70s body work on it. Best of both worlds.

Love my 75 W100. Dana 44h front with locking hubs and Dana 70 rear. 360 2bbl

On the topic of trucks I prefer the 1970 d100s myself. They're cool looking but only 1/2 ton. I am thinking of putting my 318 I am building in one.

Let me see,
Audi,Jeep,2 Valiants and 1 Dart.
Yep,you need another car..... #-o

yeah I know I need another vehicle like a bullet to the head. Selling the Jeep to make room for a truck instead. 

im searching for a good one that doesnt need a ton of work. It will get used so cosmetics dont need to be perfect

If it weren't so far away, I'd go get this one for $1200...

I just picked up a 90 D150 shortbed for my oldest boy. It's got to be from out west or down south, don't see too many here in NE Ohio with burnt paint and clean frames. 318 TBI, auto nice truck, just needs some this and thats. If he dosn't get his act together I just may sell my 99 Dak R/T and drive this one.

Over the last few days I've been looking at craigslist and eBag. These older dodge truck are pretty scarce. Especially the 60-70s. Will keep my eyes peeled for a good deal. Great thing is that the girlfriend thinks we need a truck too. Doesn't care which kind as long as it can haul stuff. :) I need to sell the Jeep first or make it a Pismo Beach sand dune rig.

Here's mine.

It's a 65 Fargo W300 Power Wagon, originally a 383, but someone pulled it and replaced it with a poly 318. I'm pulling the Poly and putting in a 440 I have in the garage. NP435 4 speed, Dana 80 rear with Dana 70 front, 4.88 gears. 40" tall bias ply's from a 6x6, on 20" rims. PTO for winch, but currently has a 10,000 LB hand crank winch on the front.

Also own the red 66 on the trailer. It's a 66 Dodge W300 Power Wagon, LA318, 4 speed, Dana 80 rear, Dana 70 front with 4.11's. PTO winch, flat deck with dually's.
