well I realize that if I'm going to get the scamp one color besides primer, I may just flat black it for now, my neighbor told me to use rustoleum, but what would you thin it down with? what do - did you all use? thanks.

I've used rustoleum Satin finish with great results - you thin it with Acetone. I sprayed the hood on my old Pro-Street with it

I used the rustoleum satin black for my scoops. I cut mine with mineral spirits at @30%. You want the consistancy of milk.

This is wet sanded and polished.

I plan to use Rustoleum flat black on my 'Cuda. That is an interesting effect when it is polished; I have never seen that before.

Hot Rod Black from pivco.net. Great prices on paint, prep, body work tools, sand paper, etc., and decent quality for the price.
