That pulley is pressed on. You may be able to press it on further to align. I pulled mine off with a puller borrowed from the auto parts store, then stuck the pump in the freezer and the pulley in the oven. This will allow you to slide the pulley all the way onto the shaft, then tweek it out with the puller as necessary to align.I have a 68 Barracuda Formula S-340 and I need to replace the power steering pump, but am not sure the best place to get a new one. I am not sure if it is the Federal pump, which looks to be the one in my car. Was it a Federal pump or a Saginaw?
The pump currently in my car looks to be a Federal, but the pulley is off and I could never get it moved in correctly. Thanks
