What pushrods?

Make fast, break, repeat.
Finally got the car running. BUT when I shut it off afer a few seconds I get a ticking from what I think is the lifters. I did the mock up with the adj. pushrod and everything seemed right. It just sounds like the engine is relieving stress when I shut off the motor. Like the valvetrain is too tight.
