Well I decided to do the 17" Rallye look alike wheel on my 1966 Dart. I was wondering what size of 17's will would on my Dart with out any issues?
I was thinking of 225/50/17 all the way around but do you all have any opinions?

BTW the look-a-like rallye wheel is steel wheels off a late model Charger/300/Magnum. Then use BBP rallye centers. And lastly 17" chrome trim rings. The wheels are 17x7 with 4.25" Backspace.

The rims are 17x9 Charger/300 steel wheels
Fronts are 225/50 17 Nitto NT450's
Rears are 275/50 17 Nitto NT 450's
A body rear axle with 1/2 inch spacer to clear springs

I assume dwire67 must have a wider version of the wheels.
The set I have are 17x7.

BBC rallye centers? 'Splain, please? Bitchin' info on the steelies....mucho thanks.
Bob

225/50/17 should be about the same height as OE. You should even be able to run a 255/40/17 if wanted

I have 245x45x17s all the way around on my 66. The back was a little hard to get in, but then the body is cocked sideways. If it wasn't I could get 255s in back pretty easily.
