What size of tap?

What size of tap is needed to tap the oil pan bolt holes, and the cam thrust plate bolt holes on a 360?

The same tap size as a 318..

(1/4-20 for the pan screws and 5/16-18 for the cam plate)

Oil pan bolts for all SB and BB mopars are 5/16-18 thread. The cam plate is 5/16-18 thread as well.

You should use a bottoming tap, that will allow you to chase the threads all the way to the bottom of the hole. Don't break the tap.
