Everyone, my 67 Dart has a 360 that is supposed to be north of 400 HP, with Edelbrock # 60779 Performer RPM heads, no Dyno data on it. It currently has Hooker 1 3/4" Super Comp series headers for SB Mopar into A-Body cars. I don’t like the way it fits, hangs down too low, rubs the steering linkage at full turn of the wheel, all in all not a ideal situation. I am looking do do something different and have read a lot of the post on exhaust systems. Here is what I’m down to. Stock high flow exhaust manifolds, Sanderson DD7 Small Block Chrysler Blockhugger Header Set, http://www.sandersonheaders.com/Sanderson-DD7-Small-Block-Chrysler-Blockhugger-Header-Set.html , Headman tight tube headers, http://www.summitracing.com/parts/hed-78506/overview/ , I’m open to other options.

I am tired of dealing with headers. So I am going to use 68 manifolds. I have headers and I have manifolds. The best fit headers I have ever used in the past was 1 5/8 hooker SC . They were still a pain to install and Before the mini starters I would curse them all.

Most headers today are made to fit 73 up center link and pitman arm. I installed a set of hookers on a 71 Duster . I modified them to stop the pitman arm from hitting. Only to find out later that if I would have went to the 73 up linkage they would have fit right on.

Never had the extra cash for TTI's so I don't know about them

What is the primary use or the car ? Best fit is Dougs or TTI , make good power . I used block huggers Hedman decent clearance , make enough HP for my purposes , give up 10 HP on the top compared to TTI . Engine had 394 HP 413 TQ on the dyno . Might run better with TTI or Dougs though , it's not critical for me , maybe it is for you .

For me it will be a weekend cruiser. One of these days I might put it on the track just re-live the days when I did race, but just driving around looking and sounding good is what I'm thinking. Also was not sure if the Eldebrock heads would change the position of the manifolds.

For that price point TTI or Dougs , they fit , have good clearance and flow well

TTI here as well. Excellent fit and works in a wide range of HP levels. I've been low 11's at 3,550+ lbs footbraking a normally aspirated 360 with .474" lift cam using their 1 5/8"-1 3/4" step headers!

I had good luck with Flow tech headers on my 408, ceramic coated , they fit like a glove and don't rub the centre link or anything else. I have a small Dakota starter which helps a lot, price was alright as well.
