Hey everyone. Not a regular poster, but am looking for opinions of what the value of my '73 Dart Swinger might be. I bought it, sight unseen, 2 years ago from a seller in Florida (yeah, I know) for $11,500. Thinking now I paid too much. It's got a 318 and I added a Weiand intake and Edelbrock 500 carb on it and chrome air cleaner and valve covers. The motor's very responsive and runs well. However the body work isn't good, up close. Looks great from the street and paint shines. Due to circumstances, I'd like to sell it, but don't know what to ask for it. I'll likely lose money on it, but don't know what to ask. Here are a couple pics. Any suggestions?

I don't know Rev, at paying 11,5 id think you wouldn't loose any money selling
Hows the interior, underneath the body and under hood
Does the body show a lot of waves or is it more of a full of bondo issue?

Looks like a nice car, wouldn't hurt to start at 15,000. There's junk selling for 10 in my area

Trippy car. Interesting color choice for that front end and the scoops are a "wtf" but someone had a vision...

You paid near top dollar for it imo, scheeee 'wiggles mustache and taps ash from cigar...'

Additional photos would go a long in valuing a car on a computer screen. Plus, folks here can give some pointers on easy changes to make to possibly increase the car's value (e.g., maybe some items in the engine compartment could be changed, etc.). Personally, I'd start by taking off the bumperettes. All they do is bring attention to the beak in my opinion.

Don’t worry about the value, just enjoy it. If your going to sell it, let it be known that the market of anything will rise and fall. With that said, you may or may not get your money back, you may or may not make money off of it.

IMO, I think the worry of price paid and sold should be the least of anything.

Take my advice. Just enjoy the car. When your done, sell it and try, just try and get the best price for it.
You will get low balled at every turn. I’ve been insulted a lot. I also don’t let it get to me. Stick to your tune on price. If it is over priced, you’ll know because it won’t sell.

I had a guy offer me 8K one day, he said the car ain’t worth S#%^! But yet, another flash cash me 35K.
Being it is the wife’s car, she declined to sell it as she has not had the chance to get board of it. The car is not, has not, ever been for sale as well as not likely to be up for sale for another 2 decades…. Or so…
