I installed my new door panels yesterday, and I noticed that the edge right in front of the rear panels (edge of door opening) is bare metal and looks unfinished. I'm assuming that there is some type of trim piece that covers this area, and extends down into the back of the sill plate.

Is there such a piece, and if so, what is it called? Could anyone supply a pic?

The car is a 68 GTS.

Its just a piece of edge molding that covers the sheet metal. Can get it at JC Whitney, in a 10 foot roll of course, cheap.

It is called windlace. Legendary has it in several colors.
