None that I've been able to find.

There's no question that every D/Dart had an 8-3/4 from the factory. By 1967 it wasn't uncommon to find an 8-3/4 behind a 273 four barrel/auto. So, when it happened with four speed cars is unknown, but it was after October 1965. Also, it was not indicated on the fender tag.

Two barrel four speed A-bodies from the factory are rare, but they are out there. Also no cutout on '66 or '67 Darts for the big resonator tip.

In the summer of 68, I was looking for a car to drive to college. One of the cars I found was a 67 Barracuda fastback with a 273 2-barrel and 4 speed. I passed on it and bought my 65 Barracuda non-S with a Commando 273 and 4-speed (also rally suspension with front sway bar, but 13 inch wheels).

Twenty years later my wife and I looked at a 68 Barracuda coupe with a 318 (2-barrel of course) and 4-speed. I would have bought it if I had not already had my 67 slant six coupe (now 360). Friend of mine bought the 318 4-speed Barracuda and replaced the 4-speed with an automatic. (?!?!)

I know of two '66 Formula S 4 speeds that came with 7 1/4 sure grips. My 8/17/65 built non-Formula S commando 4 speed came with an 8 3/4. Go figure.

My old '66 Commando four speed had a 7-1/4. 10/19/65 SPD. After I broke the right axle and the previous owner had broken the other axle and two sets of spider gears I replaced it with a '67 3.23SG 8-3/4. The previous owner bought it in 1975 and I bought it in late 1980 (broke the axle in Oct. 1981).
