I am getting close to having the front and rear wheel wells sprayed with the sound deadener/undercoating and wanted to be sure what was all installed on the car prior to this process as I want to have anything that might get overspray/splatter on the car. So I am looking for some original, unrestored cars and/or pictures prior to a car being stripped. The list I have so far...

Gas Tank
Fuel Lines
Brake Lines
Right side exhaust hanger floor pan bracket
Body plugs

some things I'm questioning..

Front bumper brackets
Exhaust tip hangers
Rear brake hose bracket. Attaches to left side floor pan exhaust hanger bracket.
Rear shocks, in the collapsed, up position

Thanks for any help FABO !!

67 dart factory undercoat unrestored

This red cir has no undercoat on it. It looks like a support was there while the undercoat was applied.

Looks like the engine, trans, drive, shaft, e brake cable, fuel tank were not installed at the time.

The brake and fuel lines are all coated and embedded the undercoat.

Front and rear bumper areas were not coated

The front suspension / k member most likely were not installed either.

There is an area around the upper control arm / shock tower that is not covered.

BE SURE YOU DO NOT COVER OR BLOCK ANY DRAIN HOLES. PIECES OF STRAW WOULD BE GOOD.

I believe all the body plugs look to have been installed but the undercoat did not stick well.

I find that the bumpers were installed prior to undercoat. Front bumper brackets usually have overspray on the rear area. Pretty much any part in the general area of the wheel wells would be installed prior to undercoating. The rear axle rebound bumpers were undercoated, so were the front fender side markers.
It would make sense that they couldn't risk having parts not fit if the undercoat guy got carried away, and blasted a heavy coat of the black stuff where he should shoudn't have.
