What was the year that the A body cars had this feature?

It sure seemed like a better design than the one that followed.

67 has the 3 snap in connectors.

I think that's a 65. Seems like those ammeter connections would be a little more robust. Good place to tap into for a power source at the firewall too.

My 67 Dart has the three plug bulkhead design with all spade type connectors. The 67 and later stuff is similar to the 68 -70 B body stuff I have here.
I’m going through stuff in the shop. 12+ years ago I took in a bunch of stuff from a guy that was building a 65 Valiant convertible. I am more familiar with the 67-76 A bodies do some of the earlier stuff isn’t easily identified.

i'll echo the others here with saying that it's for earlier stuff. i have that set up on my 65
