What was your favorite childhood cartoon?

popeye the really old ones. Then clutch cargo. Those mouth images still look really weird . Tex Avery and Chuck Jones ( the kitchen of tomorrow , the little taxi cab and red-hot riding hood. ) Kinda shocked noone mentioned Tom n Jerry. The original cartoon violence . No I'm old and watch anime online.
Oops somebody did whiles I was peckin I mean typing.

Saw the thread title and immediately thought of the old Popeye cartoons. I was surprised to see a couple of others list them as well. Also, gotta love the Roadrunner and Wile E. Coyote and all the Looney Tunes stuff.
The current kid crap can't compare to the old cartoon artwork and PC-incorrect storylines.

I loved Tom Slick and his Thunderbolt Grease Slapper. That car could do anything.

Tail spin, darkwing duck, chip and dale: rescue rangers. Smurfs, snorks, flash gordon, heman masters of the universe, sherah, bravestar

Star Blazers.

First serialized animated series (episodes must be shown in order).

Bugs Bunny and Road Runner rocked, i remember a cartoon called Herbie and the Chopper Bunch or something like that. Johnny Quest was awsome, Scooby Doo rocked.

I watched the heck out of Speed Racer back then, but now i watch it and it just seems dumb, cant get into it.

Roger Ramjet and Felix the Cat were the first two...

My 4 year old, much to the shagrin of my wife loves Stewie from "Family Guy." Wife doesn't want her watching it, but I sneak it in (have to 'edit' some stuff via remote control) every so often. Katya goes nuts when Stewie comes on
