For some reason, the latest dish prepared on "Master Chef Mexico" reminded me of the old nursery rhyme.

Rat is GREAT cuisine!! I remember Sylvester Stallone ate a rat burger in the Movie "Demolition Man", he seemed to like it???/ I would only eat it if I was staving...............:mad:treblig

I remember seeing muskrat on the menu, only they called it "water rabbit"

I'd do it in a situation that it was necessary, like Treblig said!

I've got a bad feeling we all have had some of this already.

ever read the short story "pig" by roald Dahl ?
its about a young man who gets orphaned, and then is raised by his aunt who is a vegetarian
he dies and he moves to the city, there, he has his first taste of pork, and when he asks the chef what he just ate, the reply is " "There's just a chance, you see, that it might have been a piece of human stuff"

Reminds me of the old variation on the poem;
Old mother Hubbard, went to the cupboard, to get her poor dog a bone. When she bent over, Rover took over, and she found he had a bone of his own!
