What year was the fender RF Pentastar update?

Does anyone know when Chrysler switched from the all metal Pentastar (#2495790 to the later two
piece plastic version (#2785540) with the metal inset? 1966?

Chrysler started using them around '64 up to '72 or 73. On the right fender only!

There are many good repops available. The reason behind the "passenger" fender location is so people can see it when the car is parked next to the sidewalk as you walk past by...

72 is last year for them on the fenders or the car at all

From what i have seen on original cars i parted 68 sometime i believe started with the plastic ones. I know the 69 original Darts and Road Runners i had all where plastic
