Actually, the British version of the MGB would be a mirror image of that one. The OP's version is for LH drive.

Well, it was stock but for cam, intake and carburetor. Plus, it still had the original rear end. I actually gave him the idea when I was bench racin about puttin the 340 outta my Charger into my 67 Triumph Spitfire. Our cars were about the same size and he had that 298 that came outta his daddy's wrecked rustang. The rest is history. loldon’t you think pretty quick is an understatement? The 289 is about as long as half the car.
