Whats the difference Between the Slant six that came in My Duster and a industrial /6 ? Secondly can I put the industrial in My car ? If I posted this in the wrong forum let Me know where I should have posted it. Thanks FD76

Other than swapping out the pan and pickup, motor mounts and any accessories it should go right in. Might have to use your distributor and carb too.

I've seen those working in brutal environments so there might be something about the cooling systems to be explored. I did a tune-up once where this slanty was stuffed into a tight-compartment in a combine, and the rad was totally plugged with chaff...... yet it came in running pretty good.

Might check rotation as well. Alot of industrial and marine engines have a reversed rotation, don't know about the slanties.
