Yeah there are quite a few branches with no flowers. Those are the offending ones I bet. Thanks. You need to thin them out a little, too much energy going to the leaves
Well alright! lolI told you what you need to do.

What I was going to say LIME needed as the soil looses a lot each year from plant eating the good stuff and don’t forget to pull the nibs off (new shoots in the v s) so it’s make maters not vines! My grandaddy's secret mixture of potting soil, cow manure and lime.
8 hours a day at least.Almost all frikkin day.
I'd say they get about that. Maybe a little more. I trimmed a LOT of the non productive (no blooms) branches off this mornin. We'll see what happens. We had some hail a couple of weeks ago. Didn't hurt the mater plants at all, but it beat the CHIT outta my pepper plants. Knocked almost all the leaves off two of them, but they've both recovered and are doing well.8 hours a day at least.
My tomatoes and peppers are slow this year but they were small starters and got planted late. I see blooms and small fruit. Last year I couldn't keep up with the picking. LOL Good news is the raspberries are loaded.I'd say they get about that. Maybe a little more. I trimmed a LOT of the non productive (no blooms) branches off this mornin. We'll see what happens. I think they're gonna do good. Like you say, we got a late start too, plus we had an unusually cool spring. Our growing season routinely goes as far as December some years, so we'll see what happens. My tomatoes and peppers are slow this year but they were small starters and got planted late. Everything i have learned is at a minimum 4 to 5 hours if we live in the heat, down south, I give mine 5 hours, and not put them threw the heat we have here, I have read a bunch and watched videos and they say at least 4, I give mine 5 hours and then they are in the shade by 4pm.8 hours a day at least.
Mine are loaded, but they did start slow this year, I used a concrete mixer and blended my soil with everything here in the picture, but now that fruit is on, I start adding fertilizer on top, and also in my water I pore in to my Wicking tubs, first year to use these and its looking good, look up Wicking pots for tomatoes for next year, I waters them every 4th day, others in pots like yours every 2 day, and skip watering for one day or two, I have seen that tomatoes like a dry soil before watering, but thats what I have learned..Thanks. Yep, it depends what and where you read. Our garden is in the middle of the back yard and get's sun from about 10am-7 or 8 pm. In August when it gets quite hot, the plants will get a bit crispy but still produce fruit. No moving mine to the shade. Our gardens were always in full sun.Everything i have learned is at a minimum 4 to 5 hours if we live in the heat, down south, I give mine 5 hours, and not put them threw the heat we have here, I have read a bunch and watched videos and they say at least 4, I give mine 5 hours and then they are in the shade by 4pm.
