I absolutely love "tool" pens.

What are popular ones out there.

I used to get them at office depot but my local location closed permanently, so now it's amazon only.

Whatever's free at the bank, doctor's office or wherever. I do like a thicker pen with a little weight to it.

I've been carrying a Cross pen and pencil set my wife gave me for my 60th birthday, I DO NOT loan them out. I let someone use the pen one day and had to track them down to get it back, hence I give them a throw down pen.

Whatever writes. I have a medical condition that causes ink pens to stop writing in a short time whenever I grab one. I told my doctor about it one day just in general conversation and she said "yeah, there's a test for that". She gave me her "test pen" and damn near immediately it stopped writing. I gave it back to her and it starts writing like a big dog.

gold cross pen and pencil in the office, Bic ballpoint in the tool box and glove boxes

I like extra fine point sharpe, writes on everything.

From the looks of your avatar, you’ve gotten serious about listening to your doctor and getting a daily dose of cardio. Kudos!

P.S. I like the G2 gel pens as well. For markers, I go with the super fine sharpies or the Milwaukee markers that claim to write on greasy surfaces.
