Hey everyone, I am in need of help. I found some nice rims and tires for my 1965 barracuda. Wondered if the below described will fit or if the backspacing is going to be too tight?

AD: Fronts are 15x6 with 3.75” backspacing (+6mm offset), rears are 15x7 with 4” backspacing (0mm offset) Tires are 205/65/15 and 235/60/15
Any help would be awesome. Appreciate everyone on here.

The math for their offset and backspacing isn't working, but going off the backspacing numbers I would expect these to clear but be close. Worst case, the rear wheels may need thin spacers and you might need a tiny bit of fender rolling.

I was worried mostly about the rear opening because of the barracuda “skirt” look. Rolling the panels isn’t an option. I already have paint and body done. I have a 3 hour drive ahead and thought I’d ask the experts.

Or I was thinking of these …

They are 15x7. 3.75 backspacing and for the rear of the car. I have nice 14x 4.5 steelies that would be for the front. I’d paint them either black or body color. The pic above is a new wheel. Thoughts?

They should fit nicely but I don't have a Barracuda. Those would bolt right on my 66 Dart. 7" wide with a 4"backspace is perfect. Let's see, who runs a early Barracuda with aftermarket wheels?

Possibly not enough backspace. @66340SEDAN do you know what difference the rear wheel openings are from Valiant?

My thoughts are good luck finding those in the small bolt pattern. Summit has a few 15 x 6 but none in 15 x 7 and according to Wheel Vintiques, they are not going to sell anymore plain steel wheels in the small bolt pattern.

These are 15x7 small bolt Cragars that I ordered from Jegs. Tires are 205/65R15 in the front and 225/65R15 in the rear. No issues. 4-1/8" backspacing.

Think the 15”x6 with the back spacing of 3.75 would be a solid fit for the rear? Just confirming before summit runs out.

15 x 7, 4.25 backpacking, with 24560R15. No problem but my quarters are rolled. Plenty of space to the springs.

Im a long time Mopar guy and hot rodder in general, but cant for the life of me figure out why so many try get the biggest tire/wheel possible under their cars- with the resulting rubbing issues. Most of our rides are not race cars so it should not be for the absolute best ET,, but I do like the look of a full wheel well and the right stance, that being stated, unless the deal is too good to pass up, Id say go for what you KNOW will fit and dont take the chance- it can be a real mess, ask me how I know!

My memory sucks.

They are 205 75 14.
And the wheels? That is the info I need. Width, Back spacing?

I added 3" to the rear tubs by sectioning the original inner fenders. I also did a spring relocation. The car is on a rotisserie so it is completely disassembled. I'm basically trying to get an idea of what size and offset wheels I can get away with. I have an 8.75 cut to a-body dimensions and factory front disk brakes.

I have had 255 60 and 245 60 15 on a 4 3/8 back space on my 64 Dodge Dart with a 7.25 rear I would stick to 14 inch in the front

My front tires are 195 75 14 on stock small bolt 14s also have ran 205 70 up front no issues

The fronts are 14" factory ralleye wheels. 5.5" width. Not sure about backspacing.

The rears ar 15 x 7. 4.25 backspacing with 245 60 15 tires.

I also have an 8.75 cut to a body length and factory Kelsey Hayes discs up front.

The rears would be close to the quarters but my lips are rolled. Plenty of room at the springs.

One day I'll have mine on a rotisserie but for now I'm driving it every time I get a chance!!

Went with the last steelies from summit. I’ll have those on the rear and use my 14” 4.5 wide for the front. Hope I made a solid decision? Felt some pressure to order because of them being the last ones being made.
