Hi all. It's been a while since posting and been busy on my 67 dart doing a mini tub. I'm getting close to ordering wheels/tires and have seen several people on the internet running 15 x 10 rear wheels with 28 x 13.5 Mickey Thompson drag radials. I realize that you probably have had discussions in the past but I'm fairly new to the forum and missed out on previous threads. I was wondering what is the best backspacing for a 10" wide steel wheel to center it in the wheelwell with a stock a body 8.75 rear? I talked with one man that had performed this at a show a year ago, but he said that he missed the backspacing a quarter to half inch and that it will rub on the inside with 4 people in the car on an angled turn in. I believe that he stated he had a 7.25" backspace. Any and all correspondence would be much appreciated and thank you In advance.
