I'm not too familiar with the early A's but these are probably a no go on anything other than a duster or demon, I don't think I could get them under my 72.

Back spacing is way off would look BAD,nothing worse than the tire out side of the car.

those wheels would fit just fine. all you need to do is move the springs into the frame rails, mini tub it and have your rear end narrowed.

I hope your not serious? because thats a crapload of work to fit 2 wheels that he's not sure he wants to keep...
