Thanks.

I’ll update the thread and take pictures for future reference of FABO members
just be sure to get the correct offset to keep it centered. We used 15x8 with 4"BS to keep the 275 off the spring.

Ok I’ll definitely make sure to do this. Thanks so much man. This thread is for dudes like me that LOVE cars but are just now learning about the ins and outs and the complexities of it all. Not to mention the amount of money it takes to get it to look good.

You can always mod the fenders if it’s not a show car

If I had known I was going to run into this situation I probably would’ve trimmed it the way you did. At this point, it’s not an option. My cars painted and this is practically the last of what’s needed. I wouldn’t mind snipping the inside lip corner if I need to but a modification like yours I won’t do.

I have 215/60/15 on front with 15x6. If you run 235s you maybe ok, you may fold your fender over in a turn I’m not 100% sure . Maybe there are some guys on here that run them that will chime in. Below is a photo where it can hit. I do know a 225/50/17 will hit and according to this tire calculator, 235/60 is larger in size.

Yes, the 60's are a taller tire. On my van I have 8.5 on the TA 215 by 50 and the rear 10" on the TA 255 by 50. They fit well. Again, it's on a van, but the tires and rim sizes are the same. I don't think they will work on the front of a dart without modification of some sort.

I think someone tried to tell you that the sbp 15x6 you have are not oem, cause Mopar never made a 15x6 sbp wheel. (My oem 15x6 lbp are 4"bs). So, we don't know the backspace of the wheel that you have for the front, and it's important.
Frankly, I would mount 215/60x15s on your sixes, and 255s on 15x7s for the rear. A 15x7 with 4+ backspace will be easier to fit than a 15x8 or 8 1/2.

So it looks like I’m going with 225’s in the front. I’m not in a place in this build where I’d consider cutting to fit a bigger tire. Thanks for everyone’s help. I’ll post pictures once the tires are on the car.

Wheels and tires should arrive by Saturday in the meantime I am looking into replacing the leaf springs.

Has anyone got the Espo Springs & Things with a 1inch lift? Wondering if with the 255 in the rear and the 1 inch lift if it’ll give it too much of a lift.

If you are going with 225/60/15 in front do it on a 15x7 rim with 4.25 or 4.5 backspacing.

Or a 15x6 rim and try to get 4.25" backspacing. But I think many15x6's will be 4" backspacing.

I have a 15x6 with 4” backspacing for the front and I’ll have 15x8 with 4.5” backspacing in the rear for the 255’s

All you can do is give it a try.
And here are pictures of it now.

255/60R15 & 225/60R15

The 225’s fit but are tight, as you guys said they’re close when being turned but not hitting. It may be an alignment issue, I’ll have more answers soon. But they do clear. Images attached.

Flip the tires around, so the lettering is on the inside. I think the "all black" looks cooler.
I see what you mean. Well we’re on opposing sides on his aesthetic opinion bc I feel the white letters look pretty cool although I do like the all black look too
