Sounds like a nice set up.

I'm no expert but I'll get you started. Battery in trunk? Sounds like you need better weight transfer.

Get the 90/10 shocks for the front too. The Competition Engineering are reasonably priced but you have to unbolt one end to adjust between 90/10, 70/30, and 60/40. They work well....they let the front end lift and then they settle slow going down the track to gain better aerodynamics. Very smooth shock.

I think yours would be same as mine, the C2620.

thanks mate , car has truck battery in boot all ready an 90/10 in the frount .

I'm thinking that you need more gear. It will slow the tire/wheel speed and let that engine eat while still moving the car forward. You will shift quicker but you will be able to launch harder with less spin.

Wow,your 60's are terrible...you've got way too much air in those drag radials from my experience they like 15-18lbs max...those m/t are the only tire i run and will hook better then slicks when you get the right pressure in them..my duster goes 1.40's 60's with my stroker..1.60's with the 366 in it,with nothing more then h.d. leaf springs, pinion snubber and cheap summit drag shocks set at 50/50..

I am running the same rear setup as you , at your setting I had high 1.8 60 ft. with 8x26 m/t slicks made these changes went to mid to high 1.5 60 fts.
with a stick car. Put a nickel( about .075 to .080) under drivers side and ajusted both side to ( O ) take nickel out. Now the importent part you must have a minium of 5 inches of travel in the front suspention from rest to streched out all the way! I got mine buy ajusting the front ride hight and cutting down the upper control arm stops. This came right from Calven at cal tac.

Agreed. Way to much tire press. And get those tires hot.......

thanks guys i will do those changers and try it again.

99% guess you'll need an adjustable shock on the rear to control separation. Rancho 9 ways are the cheapest alternative, they get more expensive from there. The 50/50 shocks may work ok with SS spring, not so well with cal tracks.

Agree with the others on tire pressure. Start at about 16-18 psi. Run as much tire pressure as the car can handle. My friends Cuda runs low 1.40's on 275/60/15 MT et street radials at 20 psi. There will be a sweet spot for tire pressure. Trial and error is the only way to find it.

thanks for your help guys i will get some ranco 9000.

Another thought.. the upper hole IIRC hits the tires harder. You may want to try a GOOD set of rear shocks, preloading the T bars, and the lower holes with no preload and see what it does. You have no sidewall to take any of the hit of with 26/10s.

I have pulled off 1.6 or 1.8, 60' times (can't remember now) on re-pop E70-14s.

You should be able to get that to hook up better. Play with your air pressure, I like to do the free things before I start tossing money at an issue.
