Wheel well trim by AMD will they cover inner edge??

I bad inner fender edge that had bad bondo smoothing over some rust that i want to cover until i can get fix later down the line. I saw these wheel well trim and they appear to cover the inner side of fender wheel opening will this work can anyone confirm?

There’s a decent chance that trim won’t fit because of the bondo on your car.

Even if it did, it wouldn’t do anything other than cover the very edge, which doesn’t seem to be the only place you’ve got bondo.

And obviously it wouldn’t do anything to prolong the life of the bondo or the quarter panel. If anything, it might trap water which would then be absorbed into the bondo.
 
99.9 % chance that the shape of the quarter is no longer correct.
 
1% chance the screws won't hold.
Sounds like we need a, A Bodies Only Bookie. We buy him mouldings and see.
Or maybe some dice.
All kids in aside if he does get them start in middle with attaching and work towards the ends.

They’re just gonna look wonky no matter what. The trim edge isn’t wide enough to cover the issues that are going on with that lip.
