Have you guys tried that out yet? I hope it works out for you. What happens most times with a leaf spring car is as the axle wraps up the wheelie bars smack the track. This stops the leaf spring from planting the tire and it gets unloaded. Those bars probably need to be a good 10 or 12 inches from the surface.

Correct. We have ladder bars in our Dart.I had to set the wheelie bars up high so the car would not unload when the bars contacted the ground.
Here is a video the show the separation. My wheelie bars are only 40 inches long also.
