when can a stripe be installed.

The Duster is in for paint now. So when can the stripe going down the side be put on? if it makes a difference they have a down draft back booth.

I always heard waiting at least for a couple of weeks is a good idea, to let the paint get good and solid.
Same with waxing.

If it's vinyl, wait until paint cures. If it's paint, do it in the booth. Mine is painted and buried in clear. Much better.

I always recommend waiting at least 2 weeks to allow the paint to gas off. Otherwise, you can install it perfectly and a few hours later have bubbles. They will eventually come out but it can drive you nuts in the meantime.
