where does the coil mount?

I am almost complete in putting the engine compartment back together and I can't see to figure out where the coil mounts. I would assume on the firewall somewhere but I don't see any exisiting mounting holes. I thought maybe it mounts to the intake manifold but the braket I have is flat and the intake holes are diff heights. Any help? pictures would be better!
 
It mounts to the back of the intake. Sounds like you have an aftermarket brackets.
 
Yes. One side should be lower then the other. I used a longer bolt and some nuts and washers to take up the space on mine.
 
You can see the coil at the rear of the manifold on the passenger side. I used a bracket from a 318 that had the offset for the different height bosses.

you may bee able to put some waschers or a short pice of a pipe on one of the polts to make a spacer! i did like this its not a ´very good pic but it may give you an ide:)
