Looking to purchase a fiberglass hood with cowl or 6-pack scoop. Where do you recommend to purchase from? Thx

AAR was very good fifteen twenty years ago... Unfortunately they closed during covid...But they are in the process of getting back into it...

A buddy just ordered his hood a couple days ago...

AAR Quality Fiberglass

I’m very happy with the quality of my AAR ‘cuda hood from AAR Fiberglass.
I’m glad to hear they’re coming back. I spoke to the owner right before they closed for Covid. Basically, his workforce was people who chose to get a Covid check and stay home. He couldn’t get anyone to keep coming to work.

Buy from whomever is closest.
I would buy from unlimited, cause they are about fifty miles away, I can pick up my purchase, avoid shipping costs and damage, and can inspect my part before I accept it.
Shipping is extraordinarily expensive for big glass parts, damage is likely, if not crated properly.
I'd drive a few hundred miles to pick up glass parts.

Unlimited is in southern California.
There has to be somebody closer to you.
Yet, Boosted (member here, or was) bought a hood, trunk and bumpers for his Duster from Unlimited, and had em shipped to wash state. I was surprised how little the shipping was, yours would be quite a bit worse.

Shippings $289

Thanks for the info guys. After some research I've decided to go with Glasstek 5" sunoco style pin on hood for my Duster. Plus I can drive and pick it up in person.

I went with Glasstek. Got the flat pin on with 5” six pack scoop. I can pick-up on person.
