Hi. I have 73 Dart 225 slant 6 with a 1920 carb in it. The other numbers are 6594 1313 and 3698347. I'm trying to find the correct carb rebuild kit and float for it. The Walker site lists two carb kits for the 73 Dart 225 slant 6. 15519A and 15480A. I didn't see a float listed. Can anyone help in identifying the correct carb kit and float.

Thanks for any help.

Kit for Holley 6594.
Hygrade 596 Rebuild Kit
Float Hygrade FL93
Float can also be found using Holley number Holley 216-38
Original Chrysler kit is #3685803 but it does not come with float.
Most rebuild kits don't include the float.
All of these numbers can be found on eBay or you can call one of the Carb shops listed.

The only problem with a Hygrade kit is they stopped producing them over 10 years ago. All you're gonna find are old NOS kits that do not have ethanol resistant parts. Daytona Carburetor makes new kits using NEW ethanol resistant parts.

Agreed.

And that's why I wanted an "actual "body" on the other end of the phone when I ordered the kit for my AFB earlier this week, as I wanted to ask them this very question.

Are you rebuilding it because it needs it , or for refresh /preventative maintenance . Search "Holley 1920 " here for comments.

It needs it. I'm getting the Walker kit # 15519A. I'm having a hard time finding a float for it. Not sure if it has the original brass float still in it or not. I may get a choke thermostat for it too. Thanks.

That 85-53 clean out plug for idle tube, tap metering block on solid surface falls right out.

That idle feed is only like .025 very small , if comes out go .002 bigger, comensate for todays leaner fuel. If does not come out go down from top with welders tip cleaner.

The 1920 was never made with brass float,1904 and some others look like 1920, had brass but not 1920.. parts are different. Filko 19-117 Carburetor Float | eBay

Ok. Thanks for the info! I found the carb kit. They say the float should weigh about 7.5 grams. I'll buy the one you suggested and measure it. Thanks again!
