A single Holley is let BS and easier to tune than trying to sinc 3 carbs
Agree, the Holley will probably produce more hp . I was thinking if possible about plugging the idle circuits on the Outboard carbs, i have a spare set of carbs that i could use to experiment with. I love to tune and fiddle, im Looking firward toward to Getting the tripower setup tuned.

If tuned properly the 6 pak will out perform a single carb. They did a (manifold/carb swap on the same base engine) thread and it was a bit more hp and torque using the 6 pak

Not sure how that's going to run with either set up. I've never seen it before.:)
Thanks, that you havent seen it before is the approach Im doing. with the car.. Ive been gathering custom ideas for it for 10 yrs. Soon Ill be posting pics of a double alternator set up One the left and one in the the right, Looking like it came that way from the factory

I can’t see that tri power adapter doing anything other than causing fuel puddling issues before it gets to the intake. Single Holley setup all day long. If you really want something different that will out perform either setup, find yourself a Holley 3 barrel or a Holley list number 6710 DP ThermoQuad replacement. A similar 6213 (or one of the several list numbers according to which make they were designed for) 800 cfm DP Q-Jet replacements.

I have some already rebuilt thermoquads. right now I am experimenting. For track use or street racing It will be the Holley. For cross country cruising the thermoquad, tripower for car shows. I want to be able to change the setups in 15 or 20 min

The three twos are purely for looks. The reason they don’t make that stuff anymore is because it never worked well. If you want 3 deuces up high and truly functional buy a tunnel ram and build a top plate for em. If looks is all you’re after, disable the two outboard carbs completely and run it on the center. That’s really the only way it’ll work decent. Funky adapters always look cheesy to me. As always This is just my opinion.
