Hi guys.Im going to put a 360/727 in a 65 Dart for a daily driver and I would like to use stock manifolds if I can, anyone know which part numbers will work?

Thanks for the replies, I thougt about using the 69-70 340 manifolds but they arent cheap at all.I was looking for a cheaper way.I got a passenger side 340manifold 3418623 but the driver side are hard to find by themselves at a good price. I would like to know if anyone has tried the other 340 manifolds with the very short exit that doesnt snake around like the Hipo ones. I think their off B bodies.

i forget the parts numbers off hand. but i have an extra set of 65 a body manifolds that i could probably part with if your interested. im not sure what there worth but i can look into it. let me know if your interested in a pm.

I dont know if either of these would be of interest/use they are not a matched set... $20 a piece plus shipping but consider I am in Canada.

thanks guy for the offer, great price but I need the ones with the larger ports for a 360. may want to ebay those Ive seen those sell lately

You may also consider using a 904 rather than the 727 trans. the 727 nearly touch the floor pan. You'll have to hammer the floor seam flat. Also, where the shifter post is, may not fit under the floorpan "bump".

I'm going to install at 360/904 using a balanced flexplate and neutral TC in the 904.

also. the 727 take 50hp to turn in high gear vs. 35 or so in the 904. With modern materials, the 904 can easily take the 360 power.

I'm not sure what I"m going to do for exhaust yet. Maybe spitfires.

I was told that late 80's early 90's dakota manifolds will work with manual steering but will need grinding for use with p/s. I was considering using them on my dart and found them new for $65 each. I have decided to use the inexpensive hedmans but I think finding headers for your application are much expensive and more limited.
