Which starter?

I'm looking for suggestions/advice on which mini starter to get(manufacturer), and which supplier possibly. As I finally found time to drop my tranny and ready to install new clutch.
What do you all use?

Mopar mini starter from Summit. Make sure it is the ma Mopar one.

I was just having that discussion in "chat", so likely the one out of my '03 Dakota would work. I just thought the aftermarket (or maybe MOPAR) mini high torque starters were smaller then that.

I don't know exactly which year they changed, but some of the newer mini's had different terminal ends. FWIW, I used one off a 93-95 Dakota, direct bolt-in!

That looks exactly like the one I was thinking about.
How did you like it, reliable?

That is smaller then the one in my Dakota, I think, might have to put them side by side.

They work great. Its pretty much the same thing as the late model Dakota starter. But its brand new and cheaper then the Mopar Performance one.

Giles you should be able to get one from a salvage yard at less than 1/2 that price...in Canadian dollars too.
